In Ukraine, delays of individual passenger trains of the western direction are possible due to a fallen tree and dangling contact networks in the Kyiv region.
It is reported by the press service of Ukrzaliznytsia.
"Because of the fallen tree in the Kyiv region, as a result of which the railway contact networks were torn off, a number of passenger trains were delayed on the way," – the report said.
At the same time, the ministry clarified that the incident occurred at 5:12 AM on 51 km of the Klavdievo-Borodyanka haul.
Now the railway workers are working on the restoration of the site. At 7:12 AM, the voltage was restored on the steam track of the section and train access started.
"On the road, some local trains and long-distance trains, in particular, the train No. 98 Kovel - Kiev, No. 705 Kiev - Peremyshl, No. 92 Lviv - Kiev, are delayed", - the press-service reported.
