At the meeting on September 5, the government adopted Decree No. 649-r “On measures aimed at unshadowing of relations in the sphere of employment of the population”, JurLiga reports.
The document provides for the implementation of comprehensive measures by the bodies of the State Labor Service of Ukraine (SLS), State Fiscal Service (SFS), Pension Fund (PF), National Police (NP) and other executive authorities, together with local authorities, whose goal is to unshadow the labor market and to strengthen control over the registration of labor relations with employees.
The Cabinet of Ministers instructed the following departments:
• before October 5, 2018 – awareness-raising activities on the planned measures and the inadmissibility of employees without appropriate documentation;
• since October 5, 2018 – comprehensive measures aimed at unshadowing of income and employment of the population.
The Cabinet instructed the ministries and executive bodies to review their own regulatory and legal acts and amend them in order to improve control over the registration of employment of the population when implementing the powers granted.
The SFS, PFC, National Police, as well as other central bodies of executive power are obliged to submit a report on the work carried out each month before the 10th day to State Labor Service in order to summarize the information and submit it to the Cabinet of Ministers up to the 15th day every month.
