The investigators did not have time to uncover the theft of the bay with copper wire from the territory of Ukrtelecom, a telecom operator, as a new disaster happened. On one weekend, several high-rise buildings in the city were left without Internet and telephone communication, the press service of the police station of Konstantinovka reported. Residents began to call Ukrtelecom with complaints. The repair team left at the address. It turned out that in one of the wells there are no meters of communication cable of 20 meters.
Copper cable was stolen by "metal hunters." Employees of Ukrtelecom filed a statement about the new theft to the police. Now the list of thefts committed against the telecoms operator has been supplemented with another criminal case, which entered the Unified Register of Pre-Trial Investigations.
The intruders who had cut 20 meters of copper wire at night were soon found. So now they face three years in prisons.
