The cost of travel in public transport may be increased in Slavyansk. This is evidenced by the draft decision, which appeared on the website of the City Council of Slavyansk, 6262 reported.
The document says that from 10 to 26 December 2018, the city administration will hold consultations with the public regarding tariff increases.
There are plans to increase the cost of a ticket to 4 UAH in electric transport and to 6 UAH in buses. The city council has already sent letters about the cost increase to the municipal enterprise “Trolleybus Administration of Slavyansk”, as well as to private companies and carriers.
A public hearing on this issue will take place on December 20 at 02:00 in the building of the city council.
The mayor of Slavyansk, Vadim Lyakh, also confirmed that the fare in public transport would indeed be adjusted.
