Today, Ukraine celebrates the Day of Ukrainian literature and language. The holiday was established by the decree of Leonid Kuchma, the President of Ukraine, back in 1997 in honor of the Ukrainian chronicler Reverend Nestor – the follower of the Slavic writers Cyril and Methodius.
In honor of this holiday, the All-Ukrainian dictation of national unity is held in the country for the eighth time, which was also joined by Kramatorsk.
The radio dictation was held on the basis of the Donbass State Machine-Building Academy. In total, about 200 residents of Kramatorsk wrote dictation this year, among which one could see local activists, students, as well as representatives of the City Council, according to the self-government of Kramatorsk.
Upon completion of the writing, all the works were collected and will soon be centrally sent for inspection to the Ukrainian radio. Around December, the names of the best participants who managed to write the text of “Wings of Ukraine” without a single error will be made public. Last year, the Donetsk region showed one of the best results.
