Yesterday, on March 11, a tragedy occurred in one of the houses on Internatsionalnaya Street. The details were told to the ZI journalist by Vladimir Ilyuschenko, the head of the emergency service of the management of gas supply and gasification of Konstantinovka. After the death of his mother, her adult son, who loves to drink, lived alone in the house.
Yesterday he invited his friends, but there was little booze. Without thinking twice, both the guests and the owner decided to get money for drinking, having sold pipes, batteries and other metal products for scrap. When they started cutting the heating boiler with a grinder, they didn’t block access of gas to the house.
The gas exploded. The explosion dumped the attic, destroyed the wall of the house. When an emergency crew arrived at the neighbors' call, the friends fled, and the owner of the house was asleep dead to the world. The specialists from management of gas supply and gasification immediately shut off the gas, so there was no threat of an explosion for neighboring houses.
The ambulance took the victim with burns of varying severity to the hospital. According to doctors, today there is no threat to his life. But now he has no place to live, since the house is destroyed.
