The size of the minimum wage since January 1 in Ukraine has grown by 450 UAH and today is equal to 4123 UAH. About two million Ukrainian pensioners have already received or will still receive (until January 25) an increased pension.
This applies to those citizens who have a long work experience (women – 30 years old, men – 35 years old) and a small pension. They were raised their pensions to a maximum of 172 UAH, and now such pensioners will not receive less than 1,669 UAH.
The increase will affect the amount of subsidies, when their appointment will take into account the income of the first quarter of this year. In the meantime, those citizens who use the subsidy today are paying in the old way.
Those who apply for the appointment of a subsidy in January will take into account the revenues of the second and third quarters of the past year (from April to September). Those who applied for a subsidy in February will consider the total income of the third and fourth quarters (from July to December 2018).
