They were installed by students for everybody who do not know the city.
Many people from other towns and villages of the region come to Bakhmut. It is difficult for guests who do not know the city to find this or that object – one have to ask the local residents. In order to make it easier for visitors to navigate in the space of Bakhmut, demonstration stands with a map of Bakhmut installed at the bus stations and the railway station. This map shows all the most important objects and structures. This is reported by the local publication 06274.
This project was organized by a team of students, the author of the idea was Daria Martynenko, and the head was Mikhail Dedunov. The student project won the program of ideas “Participation budget” for landscaping and improvement of the city.
The map of Bakhmut is very simple and accessible to all age groups of the population. The project cost 19 thousand UAH.
