It is reported that the checkpoint came under fire this morning. As a result, the armored car and one of the dug-outs were damaged.
“Today from 6:25 to 07:30 AM, small arms and grenade launchers from the direction of the temporarily occupied territory were fired upon against the border guards performing tasks as part of the Joint Forces at the “Mayorsk” Checkpoint. As a result, the armored car “Cougar” and one of the dug-outs were damaged. There are no casualties among servicemen and the civilian population,” – the report said.
It is also reported that from 6:30 to 08:50 AM people were not allowed to cross the line of contact in this direction. Now the crossing has been restored, the checkpoint is operating in normal mode.
