The number of measles cases continues to grow in Zakarpattya region. Last week alone, 126 cases of the disease were registered, which is 54% more than last week.
Most cases of the disease were recorded in Zakarpattya region region. This message was made on Monday by the press service of the Regional Health Center of Zakarpattya.
Currently, 67% of all measles cases are children under 17 years old (85 cases in total).
Cases of measles were reported in 8 districts of the region: Tyachevsky, Irshavsky, Mukachevsky, Mizhgirsky, Uzhgorod, Beregovsky, Perechinsky, Svalyava districts, in Mukachevo and Uzhgorod.
It was also said that medical institutions had everything necessary to carry out immunization within the vaccination schedule. So everyone will get the vaccine on time.
