Today, on June 7, the Verkhovna Rada decided by 315 votes in favour of creating the Supreme Anti-Corruption Court.
This is reported on the official website of the Verkhovna Rada.
“The draft law is aimed at determining the foundations of the organization and activities of the Supreme Anti-Corruption Court and special requirements for judges of this court as well as guarantees of their activities,” – the explanatory note to the draft says.
Petro Poroshenko, the President of Ukraine, arrived before the vote in the parliament. He took part in the meeting of the BPP faction, and then took the stage of the Rada, urging the deputies to support this law.
