A 30-year-old resident of Mirnograd will be tried for fraud. The man fraudulently seized the money of two residents of Pokrovsk. The Prosecutor’s Office of Pokrovsk sent an indictment to the court on part 1 of Article 190 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, local journalists reported.
It is reported that the attacker called at a random number from the local newspaper ads, introduced himself as a friend and begged the interlocutor to lend him 4,500 UAH. The 45-year-old resident of Pokrovsk, who voluntarily gave the money to the fraudster, was caught on the hook by the swindler.
In the same way, in a couple of days, the attacker seized the money of a 48-year-old woman from Pokrovsk.
It is noted that the fraudster already had problems with the law. His fate will be decided by the court. He faces a fine of fifty to one hundred tax-free minimum incomes of citizens or corrective labor for a term of one to two years, or restriction of liberty for a term of up to five years, or imprisonment for up to three years.
