All-Ukrainian Association of football coaches called the best mentors in 2018. The best coach is Vladimir Sharan, who leads the preparation of the football club "Alexandria", who had taken third place in the Ukrainian football championship.
The second place went to Paulo Fonseca, who is coaching the football club Shakhtar, which is now the leader of the Ukrainian championship.
And third place went to the mentor of Kyiv Dynamo Alexander Khatskevich. The club led by the Belarusian coach took second place in the first round of the national championship.
The top five also included the coach of Lviv, Yuri Bakalov, and the mentor of the Zarya club, Yuri Vernidub.
We recall that the UPL calls the best coach every year according to the results of the championship of Ukraine and other major football tournaments. Earlier this title honored mentors of the most titled clubs.
